If your pet passes at home and you would like to have them cremated, bring the pet to the Humane Society of Broward County between the hours of 9 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The admissions area is open seven days a week, no appointment is necessary to bring in a deceased pet. The fee is a $50 donation, however if you would like the ashes returned to you the cost is based on the weight of the pet.
The Humane Society of Broward County offers Private Cremation Services for those individuals who would like to keep their beloved pet's ashes. This price also includes a beautifully carved wooden urn with your pet's name.
The staff at the Humane Society of Broward County are here to assist you with this difficult process. If you would like the Humane Society to perform the euthanasia for you, we do ask for $75 to cover our cost for the procedure.
